hey, is it just the rear plastic thats buggered? I took mine to southern trim shop in lonsdale, go to clark rubber and buy some clear plastic then take the back window to them along with the plastic & they will sew it in. They are pretty well priced too. Dont go to wiltshire they charge through the roof.

Yep just the plastic thats shagged, I was going to buy the thicker 1mm stuff from Clark Rubber and use vinyl glue etc to do it myself.. I've already have the roof out so i might enquire.

Do you remember roughly how much it cost you to get it done?

Cheers Duj I'll give them a bell its handier now that I'm working at Lonsdale now.

Cheers,
L.

I would not buy an unknown product. A trimmer - boat or car will know what is the best UV resistant material. If the material you buy is not uv stabilised and not made from virgin material expect it to fail fast- ie discolouration and cracking. People buy cheap outside garden furniture which is often made from regrind pp- if you get furniture made from quality virgin material it will last many years.

Thanks Mr Morlock, I shall investigate.. Its only $16 for the stuff from Clark rubber. So chances are it wont be UV stabilized.

But I'll check with the motor trimmers.

Cheers,
L.
