My door lock actuator (remote locking) for the passenger door died yesterday (again). Does anyone know if you can remove it and still lock the door with either the key or the latch?.
Im hoping to tackle it this weekend, but until then...cheers

Yes, you should be able to remove it and still lock the door with a key or the internal latch.
Or, you can just leave the actuator in place and still be able to lock it....depends on what has actually happened.
