My DIYPNP kit was delivered today. I'm going to keep posting to this thread how I go building it so you can see my mistakes and success. Hopefully it will be all positive.

Good luck with it. Can't be too difficult because my mate's 15yo son earns pocket money by soldering them up for motorbikes.

Nice going.
I've been re-acquianting myself with my PNP, and it's so satisfying to know what you are doing and punch in the right numbers in the right places and getting the results you want. I can only imagine how much MORE satisfying it must be to do all this from scratch.

I think this is holding alot of people back from doing this...me included, its been wayyy to many years since i spent some serious time on a soldering iron.

In a past career I worked in a TV repair shop so I've handled a soldering iron before.
I'd be happy to solder up more DIYPNP's for people for a fee. It's not that difficult to assemble.
