Cam settings

I'd love to know what cam setting people have and why.
I'm about to start experimenting with different cam settings via the adjustable cam gears

I'd love to know what people have & what works.

in my case I'm sure thet are set on 0. both exhaust & intake which is probably good for max hp. But crap for fuel economy & low down torque.
mine start really going at 5000rpm the car just hammers. In fact at 7000rpm the engine still pulls & it feels more solid than at 4500rpm

so if you are willing to share lets hear some of the black majic

Wow.. those seem quite big from the specs.

Im guessing very peaky? How does it idle?

The 805s for me gives about stock torque up to 4000, then from there it goes quite hard all the way to the limiter

It idles like sh*t. bit like a rotary.....
The idle is Ok. It idles on about 1000-1200. However it doesn't manage to get a lot of vacum. It idles on about 66Kpa and its using a lot of fuel. Ampz recently installed an air intake temp guage & riged up a Audi progressive TPS. So we are working on getting it 100% right. Once it gets going it runs quite lean.

torque under 4000 is a fraction less than standard. but once over that it really starts going ape from 5000 onwards & upwards. It will be awesome to get it on the mountain roads or on a good hillclimb.

currently also working on transient throttle & drivability.

but adjusting the cam timing is where i'm at right now.

There is absolutely no point comparing cam adjustment specs with anyone else who has different cams, or the same cam that isn't ground exactly to a known centre. Just get it on the dyno and do lots of running (and ECU tuning each time).
