11. Drain gearbox fluid (approx 2 litres). Plug requires 24mm socket. Don’t forget to refit plug when drain complete cos you’ll invariably lose it!!

Dunno if it's worth changing point 11.

When ever someone is changing their gearbox oil I always recommend them loosing the filler bolt before dumping any oil, that way they don't get stranded with an empty gear box if the filler is seized.

But since you were dropping the gear box it would be easier to loosen a seized bolt once the box was out than from under the car.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
