People buy exhaust to be defected? I've put on the silencer so I don't draw more attention then I already am.

I found...With the silencer in. Day to day driving, I don't have to press the accelerator has deep, so i feel more lowdown torque. However that could be a placebo effect of the noise. As for it's willingness to rev, I think about the same. - Is it worth the noise...err..hmmm.. Hard to say. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Without the silencer....Havent tried.

So what are you going to do?

Buy another exhaust? change midpipe?

Where are the pics?

Does it look like this?

It does look like that =D I'm so late with this reply =P I've got a custom midpipe with 2.25" piping and a resonator. I street it without a silencer and its great. The scream at 4k and above is phenomenal. People that have experienced the RS*R will know what I'm going on about. Few days ago, i was sitting at rising from 4-5k rpm slowly, then I hammered it up to 7k rpm and even though from 4k rpm, the note is similar, just hammering it produces another unique sound compared to mild throttle at those rpm ranges. The texture of the sound, the depth of the sounds it produces is very unique. Although my main complaint is below 4k, its farty :(

I'm bored, and should be studying, so took a few pictures of a few mods I got. Then I realised the ISO on the camera was ramped up, and forgot to drop it back down :( So forgive the grainy photos.

First is this. Something I should of done ages ago. A 330mm Nardi Classic. 330mm compliments the mx5 so well. Feels alot more direct and gives me more legroom. A precious commodity in the mx5.

This was more of a spur of the moment sort of thing. My mate wanted to downgrade so I got together one afternoon and swapped out my old Superstreets and upgraded to these MonoFlexes. The spring rate is high, feels more bumpy on the road, but it feels more direct and inspires confidence. Not sure if that's a good thing.
Embarrassingly, I've yet to take my car to the track, something which is really high up on my priority list. But track days and my life seem to clash way to often.:(

My brakes were squealing for some weird reason, without brakes applied. When the brakes were on, the squeals stopped. It was time for a pad change as well and the rear rotors were scored. So I ordered some blanks for the rear, I had some slotted RDAs from Zi off a group buy ages ago. I got new fittings and EBC Green stuff.
Brakes seem to have abit more feel to them, but again :( Haven't been to track  so I haven't been able to give these a good workout. But damn, they are dusty!
On a final note, it seems I need to rebuild my driver side rear caliper. So a rebuilt kit will need to be ordered soon :( I've got a few mods arriving from our fellow friend in JDMland, Jesse Streeter soon =D YAY! HOORAY FOR HIM!
