Sneak Peek/Quick Update
So after a long wait the Clubman came home last weekend.
Here's a couple of pics to whet your appetite.
Next on the to do list is wiring, tailshaft and a few little things then the final engineers inspection and it is off for rego.

Hi Jake,
Looking good, can't wait to see it in action. How long before you think it will be back on the road?

Broady,
Engine/gearbox mounts are the Speedworks(who I think have closed down) stuff with a few mods.
Sump, intercooler, dump pipe and radiator are all custom.
Still need to do oil cooler, bov and hook up my good exhaust once it is rego'd/engineered.
Rob,
I hope around Christmas but as my first born is due on the 23/10 it could quite easily end up next year.

Congrats on the pending first born, I hope everything goes well for you. Pass on my regards to your partner (is she Mrs Jake yet?)
Our son is 18 months now and it is a great thing having a little one around

Nice work Jake!
It will be good to see it on the road.
Ironic that you can make a mini jake(tte) in less time than it took to fit the SR20DET!!!

But in the long run, the SR20DET will be a lot cheaper, and won't answer back!

That's fantastic Jake. I had almost given up on seeing this completed. From one new father to another new father, leave now while you can lol. Either that or invest in some really good ear plugs

Rob,
She is Mrs Jake now, will definately pass your regards on.
FFG,
my part in making junior didn't take long at all ;)
Ben,
It was always going to get finished, I am too bloody minded to give up even though I ended up getting some pretty attractive offers to sell it. Might even sell it yet once it is finished and I have had a bit of fun in it. Got another MX5 project I want to do and looks like I might have convinced the engineer to sign off on it
Already invested in the ear plugs too.
Benny,
It should be but it isn't a cheap conversion. It's well worth it but a turbo BP is a much cheaper solution.

Thankfully not quite that quick. The old setup was good for a 12.9 so I am hoping to take more than a second off that in street dríven trim.
