Hi I am electronically challenged,I have a WI kit and want to fit a 'light' to show when the boost activated switch is on,ie, pump working.Is it a simple loop or do I need a resistor or the like,any [polite] advice is welcome

So you want a light to come on when the WI pump is on? I assume it's a 12V pump? Just wire in a low wattage 12V light globe to the pump circuit. Dick Smith used to sell (possibly still do) what they described as "weat grain" globes which will do the job. I use one in the fog light indicator on the dash in the NB8B and it's plenty bright enough. If you want to use an LED (which will be brighter and consume less power) you will need a resistor in the LED circuit as they only run on around 1.5V I think.
