SE Shocks/Springs into NA6
Have been searching for a while but haven't had any success finding info on this.
What modifications/parts do I need to do this? Any help appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation.

A set of NB Konis & Eibachs I sold went straight into an NA, so I can't foresee any dramas.
May sit a touch higher, I mean like 2mm higher than they would on an NB, but they will lower the car from stock.
A good cost effective solution and re-buildable too.

Went for a drive and there were slow cars everywhere, why are NC's so common . . . must be NC = Normally Cardiganed.

Use the NB top hats, but it will sit higher than the same springs in an NB as spy said. I think it's more like 1cm but my NA never had stock springs so hard to tell for sure. I could measure?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Thanks all for the rapid reply. If there are no Top Hats then I should buy new ones for an NB then! I'm guessing dimensionally they are different. Does it drop the car much? As I'm a more senior driver I don't want it too low! Already scrapes the exhaust on some of those nasty metal humps at the Chermside car park.

Shouldn't be too low, might be the same height or higher than sagged old na6 shocks/springs.

I've been told that putting the se suspension in an na will raise it up a fair bit.
I would have thought the same thing. Isn't the SE a couple of hundred kg heavier than an NA6? It would come with stiffer springs to compensate for the extra weight wouldn't it?

have done it and yes makes the care V high..... not the 1cm as suggested buy others. I had the MSM springs re-set by allsprings to 5cm lower in the rear and 4cm in the front. You could probably go 3.5rear and 3 in the front if you wanted to keep it a little higher but its up to you. Im currently in the process of selecting a firmer spring to change to as the MSM ones on a drop that big are a little soft.
If your in syd and would like to come see your more then welocme.

I'd be keen know which lower springs you select and your opinion of them. I'm considering getting some for my NA6 (with NB springs/shocks).

Forgive my ignorance ...... MSM .... stands for?
I'm going to be contacting FCM in the states and see what they suggest, not intending to go as far as perches as I'm not a 'racer' or interested in tracking.
Any way ..... will let you know the outcome.

typically MazdaSpeed Miata, but in this context I'm not too sure, as it's a very septic term...

The other NA6 (the white one) on the Alpine run had SE shocks and springs...
I'm unsure if the springs have been reset, but Boyracer would be able to confirm.
Mine is just a mixture of too many things to be a mainstream combo
Huh?

Low Clearance of 4.2 metres! Do elephants piggybacking giraffes use that bridge?
