should i do it?
ok i have been thinking. I have some cams, gears and springs to go in with a smaller blower pulley. To get a new 5th injector, pump, get the car tuned and the stuff installed will set me back about 2400. should i sell my cf hood and boot which i could get atleast 2k for or keep them and save? with that stuff done i would probably see another 20wkw i would think. maybe more if i raise the ruel cut from 7200 to 7500.

havent you already got heaps of Power?
what duration & lift are your cams.
I'd be very carful. with your current set up. you power curve is pretty smooth I would imagine.

yes i do have lots of power but as someone on here said 'i never met a horse power i didn't like'. not sure on the duration of them but they are probably a little more aggressive then the 805 grind from tighe. i think they are an 898 grind.

Forget a 5th injector, get 4 bigger ones (if a dyno run shows the current ones to be too small), a stand alone ecu, and do it properly. A 5th injector is a compromise and doesn't give as much control. As for upping the rev limit, you're asking for trouble for little or no gain. You haven't got stronger valve springs or bottom end have you? Seriously mate, a decent tune and better intercooling will give you much better gains, and importantly be reliable, especially compared to upping the rev limit by 300 rpm.

i have got a piggy back computer which is doing just fine. the 5th injector is already there and has been doing a great job - i just may need a bigger one. i have a front mount intercooler already which seems to be working. bottom end is stock and but i would be installing new springs with the cams.

If you've got a stock bottom end, I wouldn't recommend going over 8lbs of boost, otherwise you can bend your rods.
Speaking realistically, the stock bottom end is good for around 150-160RWkW.
Any more than that, and you'd have to seriously think about forged rods.
