I'm currently doing a heatcore repair/dashboard swap on my NA6. So far the project has gone fairly smoothly apart from the final snag that is slowing me down:
Replacing the dashboard skin. My first plan was to swap the wiring loom from one dashboard to the other however the support beams on my original dash are in much better condition and I couldn't get the two side earthing wires disconnected.
50 screws later and I still haven't managed to remove the dashboard skin from the support frame - it's really fixed on there!

Dashboard frustration
I had the dashboard removed by this stage.
I hope to have the new dash installed by the end of Sunday.
