1998 MX5 Workshop/Repair Manual

Postby akbar » Wed Sep 23, 2009 11:43 am

I have recently bought a 1998 mx5 and would like to have a repair manual handy so that I can do maintenance and repairs when required. Does anybody know of a website from where I can get a free copy? Thanks. Akbar.

G'day Akbar, looks like the NB manual is already available here, Have a look under MX5 Technical Guide, posted by manga_blue.
I'd love to be "smart enough" to be able to post the LINK, but I don't know how.

Thanks very much. I have looked at it and it will be helpful/useful if/when I have to do something with the car. Akbar.

I believe in terms of a specific NB8A manual the only option is the Mazda factory workshop manual of which I believe there's a separate wiring diagram supplement (there was with the NA6).

In terms of NA8 manuals, apart from the Mazda factory workshop manual, there's Rod's Enthusiast's Shop Manual & the Haynes Repair Manual (1990-1997), the latter of which contains some basic wiring diagrams. Rod's doesn't contain a set of wiring diagrams, & notes they thought it was pointless given the global export, & therefore wiring variations of the MX5. Rod's also notes the approach they take in their electrical section is to provide info to troubleshoot. Apart from that Rod's also do an NA6 manual.
