I found the D01J's and RE55S were a really hard wearing tyre that lasted right the way through their life. I got over 10 trackdays from the D01J's in 225/50/15 and on their 10th day was when I set my PB. Unfortunately the person who fitted them broke the bead and they were leaking pressure all the time which was frustrating me. The V700's are really sticky so far...but they seem to be wearing quite quickly and they overheat easier. They don't require any warming up though after your first session which is a first for me.

I think you'll be closer than you think already CB ... October should be fun. If the weathers right the car is definitely faster than it was when I did that last time. We'll see if Andrew ends up dual entering in my car which should mean the 3 of us can go at it. I'll have to set a quick time in my first session before one of us destroys the alignment with an excursion though....
