A quick question.....
I'm in the process of making my own turbo manifold for my NB8a.
My question is do i need the "egr" or what ever that pesky line is coming out of the number 4 runner on the standard headers ? (the line that goes around behind the motor and into the exhaust manifold)
Can i just plug it ? I'll be running an adaptronic ecu.
any help apprciated

You don't "need" it.
It's an emissions thing.
You can block it off with a steel plate at the intake manifold, which will remove the whole line completely.

NB's in Japan came without the EGR.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
