Your car is fantastic, I'm new to MX-5's after previously playing with mainly Starlet Gt's.

Very nice car.

Keep it up.

Thanks
Troy

:(

Although it was always going to happen, it still sucks. I'm sure you'll figure out what you want from it soon enough.

yeah i had a good run and it did not result in the car getting towed and gone over with a fine tooth comb. thanks to mxhevan's advice i kept my original items so will swap them over before i drive it again.

Is there a stop-light in the bootlid?

might do with the bootlid. the bonnet i am not sure yet as its not in the stock shape and there is no weight saving. that and if i get caught with the gear on again they will tow it and go through it and i will have to de register it for sure. might even get tricky and put some vinyl over the bootlid so its not permanently painted in case i need to sell if and they want it bare.

If you want to keep it street, I say put the original bonnet and boot back, to attract "less" attention.

And then put in the CF stuff for track.

Did the officer have any problems with the fenders?

nope, neither the seat, harness, wheels, brakes, supercharger or anything else on the car. he was just interested in the bonnet and bootlid i think. i was very respectful with yes sir no sir so he was not looking to bury me.
