Rear brake caliper is beached as bro!!!

Postby jish » Sat Sep 05, 2009 8:56 pm

okay so today i attempted to change my rear brake pads, after changing my fronts, and putting slotted rotors in the front too. everything went sweet till i tried to push my rear left brake caliper back in so i could fit the new pads, and well it really didn't wanna move at all, i actually broke the tool i had trying to push the caliper back in. I also tried to loosen the bleeding nipple, and then push ithe caliper back in with a c clamp with no success. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be wrong, or how i could get the caliper back in???

Do a search on how to install rear pads on a Miata or MX5
Heaps of how too's with pictures

Try here

You need to wind the pistons back with the 4 or 6mm allen key.
