Welcome aboard!

for a cheap mod, grab yourself an air filter ... it gives the car a nice deep induction note.

Hi, its blue(2001) only 87k on the clock. Forgot the exact color name. Its a everyday driver so nothing like turbo for now( maybe next month :D )
I'm looking at the Mania CIA or similar, I'm in Perth and don't know where the local mx5 places are yet.
I basically want to do intake, exhaust and roll bar, as I've heard a good CIA gives about the same increase as a exhaust system?
Which one do you suggest? thanks guys

We suggest a Wheel alignment as your first point of call, then drop Okibi, forum owner and fellow Sandgroper a PM and see where the Sandgropers meet up. I think they do something fairly often in Perth.

The guys can talk you through the specs for above.

and a 2001 will be a Supreme Blue, the most awesomest colour ever  If anyone disagrees, just tell em' you know Caffeine and Dave from the forum, they'll quiet down real quick.

Went for a drive and there were slow cars everywhere, why are NC's so common . . . must be NC = Normally Cardiganed.

Also this is my first RWD car, when I pull away slowly when cold.

What do you think guys? paid $17K. It drives great.
I first want to get a good CAI, which one?

Very nice! I love the colour.

Are you coming on the cruise on Sunday?

Early NB8B models were infamous for "clutch judder" - could that be what you are experiencing? see here for some more details

I was pretty happy with the APEXi CAI on my NB (10AE)

I got mine from Greenline - it was reasonably priced, and the AUD to YEN exchange rate is improving.

HI, thanks Zombie, I think the color suits the car too well too, love yours.

I think it must be the clutch then, its not too bad.
thanks for the invite, maybe next time, got something organized for Sunday.

time to go and finish the polishing... :D
