Well I warmed up the dyno for the first run of the day before I had to rush off.

The extractors DO make a difference. :D

105rwkW and 286Nm torque 8)

I saw Hammers run and that's all.

I'll let him tell you what he got.

My car made a whole 90kw atw but it did pull 298nm of torque. Wish I could rev mine a little further...the power was just climbing and climbing until the rev limiter kicked in.

My stock NA6 pulled a rampaging 71rwkW and torque at peak power was 198Nm  . Peak torque was around 220Nm reading off the printout graph. I think that was the lowest numbers for the day, but still respectable compared to the 74-76rwkW for the two NA8s.

Amid a cloud of smoke and backfires, Richo's turbo pulled 197rwkW!!!

OK, I'm starting to think your avoiding me now. Was wondering where you were!

Precisely. It shows your old jalopy hasn't really lost much over the years. Was reading the same in EVO not long ago, where they strapped an NA6 to a well known dyno and were genuinely surprised at the results.

One would think so! Should do plenty more once it gets tuned. Richo's such a classic, he had a serious case of performance anxiety prior to his run :D

Sorry about that but we are moving house on Friday and the amount of packing is unbelievable.

I would have loved to have come at 11:00 and caught up with everyone.

105! Wow. That's a fairly solid figure there Phil.

I'm kinda surprised Mark's only came up with 90 though? I would've thought it'd be a bit closer to 100 than that considering the power mods you've got going on.

Damn!!!!

71kw for an NA6 is mighty impressive. My stock NA8 only made an extra 5kw but it's nearly 50kgs heavier (and that does not include the driver :) )

Well done.

Thanks Alan. Sorry I missed you on Saturday but there was no chance of me making it to Hornsby any sooner. Btw I'm running 14 degrees timing which supposedly gives more top end. Maybe you could try that if you're not already? Takes five minutes with a timing light - I can do it for you if you like.
