Wheeler Dealers - MX-5

Postby SuperMazdaKart » Fri Aug 21, 2009 4:14 pm

Came across this nifty British TV show where they have a budget to buy classic motoring icons that need TLC & then restore them to sell for a profit. This episode involves our ol friend the Mazda MX-5 & in the process of restoration, they couldn't help themselves & modified it a little bit with a visit to MX5parts.co.uk

Some of the other awesome cars they've worked on are a Triumph Spitfire, MGB, Porsche 944, & the Lancia Delta Integrale (this is how I found the show, was searching for Integrales doing helis).

Enjoy!, tally ho.

I love this show, great find!

Particularly love the opening sequence with the US(?) archival footage. Top stuff.

His first drive and comments certainly resonate with this driver. Heck, i had a pretty much identical experience, in an almost identical NA, only 2 weekends ago :D

Sadly, i didn't end up buying it.

More importantly, you were looking at an NA CoffeeBoss?

Well.... uhm, if i'm honest.... look, i didn't do that high pitched 'woohoo-ing' that he does.

Of course, i do so at every possible opportunity :D More on that story in my thread at a later date, i'm currently under media silence.

But what i can say is I've been behind the wheel of an NA last month, and another this month.

No plans to buy at this stage, but if you've read through my thread you'll see that i've been a fan of NA's for some time, but particularly since my NZ trip. One day.... :D
