Hey all, its tyre time !
First time Mx tyre buyer, and a little nervous ....
i used to run a track-day special Mini and always ran the Yokie A008s .. a Magical tyre i reckon !
anyway, my 89 Na6a is running the stockies, and does a few miles ... (about 20k a year i reckon it will be!)
So after something that holds pretty well in the wet, can have a squirt through some mild twisties and still last a few klms ...
oh yea, it should be a reasonable price too !
Cheers, appreciate your help in advance!

If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour ... you're gonna see some serious s**t.

i have heard good things about BF Goodrich Sport's.

I only have personal experience with RE001's and R1R's which are both great tyres IMO. R1R's can get quite expensive if you don't haggle or shop around. I payed 168 per tyre about 8 months ago or something. I got quoted as much as 290!!!

Have run various Bridgestone Potenzas, last set being GIII, but currently running Michelin PP2. Happy with all of them, but ones mentioned above are also well thought of by many.

A008's!!!!!!! Can you still get them? I had a set way back in 1985. They were pretty awesome way back then but they didn't work in the snow.
