The official slammed thread

Postby RG.net » Fri Aug 14, 2009 5:58 pm

There seems to be some confusion within the lowered/slammed thread. So it's a good idea to seperate the two.

This thread isn't for the fient hearted, if you dont know what "slammed" is, then chances are that your car doesnt belong here.

Examples of slammed are as follows.

Really don't see a point to this thread.
No point separating the two. If your car is slammed and you're proud of it put it in the other thread and in your own car diary.
If you want to see really slammed MX5s, then check out the mx5 picture thread on jdmst.

the point is to avoid everyone in the "lowered/slammed thread" to reject themselves from uploading pictures of their cars, due to the fact that they dont think its slammed.

This is an MX5 forum, members shouldnt need to log into another forum to view and post pictures of mx5's.

and, majority of the cars in the JDMST thread are actually miatas, it would be nice to see some local, Australian MX5's.

funnily enough, if no one got all confused in the lowered thread, this thread wouldnt exist.

How about an mx4x4 thread then ben? Most people will look at a slammed mx5 and just say, wow... thats a really low mx5. Hence why it shall fall under the category "lowered"

There aren't all that many NC's in OZ on height adjustables atm. And i don't really consider mine low enough to be considered for this thread. Which isn't going to change in the near future. Eventually though...

Does this count as slammed? Down 40mm front & rear.

now, hopefully you can see why this thread was made, as pointless as it is, it keeps all the confusion out of the other thread.

why do i bother though, its not like i'm a moderator or anything
