Anyone got ideas re datalogging from the MS PNP? ... without spending a fortune? or having the laptop in the car?

Engine is run in and ready to be megaqsquirted.

Hmm maybe thats not the way to put it...
I am glad the $$ has come back. If anyone else needs anything I am happy to combine shipping?

Did all the resistors, capacitors and "other" from the diagram on http://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t13676/ today, 78ish components, I think theres about 40 left to go

Have just been looking at the diy PNP kit on the diyauto site. Looks interesting - a cut down, simpler version of the standard MS.

Anyone got any experience with them?

Looks like a great idea, however keep in mind they run MS2/Extra unlike the original MSPNP which runs MS/Extra. The CPU is beefier but the code is less mature. One major advantage I can see is that MS2/Extra can decode the NB crank and cam signals.

I've been looking that the DIYPNP and the MegasquirtPNP. Is there a benefit for going to the MegasquirtPNP over the newer DIYPNP?

The DIYPNP is significantly cheaper. :)

No issue with 'dirty hands'. I didn't really want to build a kit from scratch but the DIYPNP looks simple in comparison to the MS1 kits.

My biggest concern is getting the base map working. DIYautotune reckon the 94-95 map will get it 'running' but I'm not entirely convinced since it's a different motor.

I put in my order for a DIYPNP, MapDaddy, LC-1 wideband, IAT sensor and a NB6 TPS.
