I didn't realise you had suffered some brain damage...

You sure know how to put the wind up a bloke !!!! coming around that corner and seeing you parked halfway up that tree is not something I wish to do again.
Look after yourself and hope to catch up at the garage in the not to distant future.
Cheers,
Keith.

See, I went looking for a pic I posted ages ago to say (in a smart ass tone) that I too had managed to fit a drum kit in my NA.

I don't mean to be a prick but are you going to sell any of your old parts like the roof with the glass window?

If you are can I have first dibs but I kinda want it cheap though.

Oh and I kinda wanted an LSD aswell...

I know your not trying to be a prick wun, thanks for being considerate of that :D Unfortunatly andrew has already put his hand up for the soft top and im pretty sure the lsd was ruined when the motor was pushed back....

Cheyne if the Kia does what you need it to at present thats good, it will make it easier to save and look for a really good NB.
At the end of the day, your Ok and you've got wheels.
Take care mate

Cheers Old Dude, the KIA will be fine for now. I am thinking about buying a shitty NA early next year and slowly restoring it, there were still alot unfinished plans with my old NA that i still want to acheive.

I do really like the NB, but it's not what i want. I love how "unassisted" the NA is and how raw it is!

You know... there's nothing more KDM than...

Korean boys singing Mariah Carey songs!

I bet they are sponsored by Kia.

KIA Mentor eh? The great thing about that car is that'll make you really hang out to get back into an MX-5! Hope the stitches are healing up. My mate has a matching set on his scone after writing off his car last month. He put his car into a rock wall and then on it's roof. Not speeding either- just a case of a dodgy wheel alignment causing a twitchy oversteer moment that went badly wrong.

Hey Cheyne, so sorry to hear about what happened. Ive only met you once, but I could tell how much you loved that car. Luckily you are on the road to recovery and, will not have any lasting injuries.

Hopefully you will be able to get another MX in the future.

Hey Cheyne,
I just read the whole thread, from start to.. u know..
When i saw that post with the pictures of the accident, my heart sank for you. Really sorry to hear about that. I've been much the same with my car as you were with yours, and i can't imagine how bad it would feel to have it all end like that.

But yeah, i hope everything goes well and you can get yourself another little beast in the near future.
