Any other photos of that intake .. is it fat like an ARC one? What's that pointy bit with \"Mazdaspeed\" on, perhaps I just need more coffee
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Dave, I was a little reluctant to put a photo of the engine bay cause, as you can see it's a dog's breakfast.
The intake is just a straight pipe with a lot of silicon bits surrounding it for heatshielding.

And how good are your eyes!! :D ....that pointy bit with the Mazdaspeed sticker on it, is just part of the carbon fibre heat-shield. I had a few Mazdaspeed stickers lying around that would end up getting thrown away or forgotten so I just stuck it on.

Looks great Andrew. Well, the outside does - I have no idea about the engine side of things. I think I need to find a place to learn... :?

Just get one of us to send you the mx-5 repair manual, start by popping the bonnet of you car and identifying all the different parts.

Once you know what is which you can focus one what they all do.

Soon you'll be CAI'ing so your AFM will work better with your CAS mods.

She ain't pretty Gail, but she puts out.

LOL!! :D
Don't forget that your TB could do with a clean, your PCV valve can be removed safely, check your IAT sensor is working properly, and last but not least, your TPS is doing it's job.

In pursuit of cooler under-bonnet temps:
- TSI's (turn signal intakes)
- Carbon fibre NACA duct

Not since I've installed the MegaSquirt mate.
I'm going to take some time off work soon to arrange dyno time at both the place I did it last time, and at Gary Stewart's.

Great looking car 1red5! I especially like the Watanabe's... mmmmm Watanabe's. and the decklid looks really nice, matches well with the twinhoop bar.

Awww thanks.... :)

And to think that a little less than two years ago, she was dead-stock and back then I would have fainted at the thought of modifying her even the slightest bit.

I've owned Rosanna for nigh on 10 years now. 8)
