That'll buff out, and your noggin is still in one piece .
That's a win right there.

Whoa! Good to know you were able to walk away from that.
Looking at the photos, it seems the MX5 did its job. It crumbled like it's supposed to at an accident and absorb most of the impact.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Cheyne glad to hear you have come out of an accident without major injury... and sorry that you've lost your MX5, especially after quite a lot of history you had with it.

Cheyne,
Sorry to hear about the car but the most important thing is that you are alright.
I hope you recover well and are able to get behind the wheel (albeit not in your MX5) again soon.
Best regards,
Les

Thanks for the kind words everyone, you see why I'll have to stick around this community now? Everyone is too darn nice . And hammer, I strongly agree with you, for what it is, the mx5 is one heck of a safe car for what it is!

holy sh*t mate!
this is certainly not what I expected when I saw the thread pop up, damn!
I'm glad to hear you're ok, but make sure to head back to the doctors and get another checkup after a week or two.
best of luck Cheyne, hopefully all the paperwork etc is pretty straightforward.
