When I got the MX shipped over here, I did it through Australian Vanlines, who outsourced the car transport to Autotrans. I think it was about $1300 for the shipping. It took them about 2 weeks, and they drove the car probably less than a kilometre (the speedo reading was 1km more than when it left Sydney, but that doesn't mean it wasn't sitting right on the edge and about to tick over). Quite good service I thought.

Car's a bit dirty inside and out, but I think that's just from coming across the country. It's definitely not "hand made" dirt.

You can have it shipping in a locked sea container (on the train) for about $350 through CEVA, then drive it from there and enjoy the trip.
