turbo or supercharged?
HI guys. I have a 2002 titanium LE. Vic rego.
Question is, which is the best way to go. Turbo or S/Charge/ and how hard is it to get engineered in Victoria?
Your comments would be appreciated. Cheers Nick.

My standard answer to this question is...
"Sell it and buy a SE..."
"Sell it and buy a SE..."
NC Roadie, NC Racey, ND Racey….and a 30AE

turbo or supercharged?
i love my supercharged mx5...but i bought it fully engineered..
was looking at adding forced induction with the previous car...both turbo or sc are very good things
but to do it properly is really really expensive!!!!!!!
get one already done properly.... an aftermarket construction is good if you can get it, but even then...is it well done ????
in lieu of a lovely miracle ( ie , well constructed f1 modified available for purchase)
GET AN SE( then add bigger turbo and intercooler ) ( or SP)... they're set up properly, legal...and cheaper in the end
good luck with your choice
enjoy

turbo or supercharged?
Nick, I've spoken to 3 engineers and offered an 'open cheque book' to get my car engineered.
All 3 basically said the same thing; "Don't waste your money, it's never going to happen in Victoria"
2 options:
1. Do it anyway (with out engineering approval).
2. Buy an SE.

MX5 Wanted. SE or NC (forced induction preferred )

I still miss my Camel, but I sold it to buy a Titanium SE...it's just not worth the hassle legality, reliability and insurance wise to go down that route!
I pained over the AVO Turbo route as well, and settled on the SE...it's got the LSD, bodykit, Bilstein suspension and it's newer, is piss easy to insure and 100% modifiable!
That and it olny cost me $2600 to make the jump inc transfers!

Well as far as I can tell, if you still can't make up your mind, the perfectly logical thing is to just do both...
