Prime -> 5 Coats of gloss enamel -> Gloss Overcoat?
I'm thinking of doing the same thing, but with the same Chaste white as outside =D

Hammer, I'll get some better photo's up when the car isn't so dirty. lol
Szemen, I didn't do a clear coat. I didn't want too much shine.
I also agonised over doing it in Chaste White or Black, in the end if I didn't like it I could always sand it back and paint it again.
This will sound strange Phil, but I didn't scrimp on the quality of the rattle can. I can't remember the brand but they were about $18 each cost price.

I think you need a black bonnet now. Go see james and get a 2nd one to paint flat black and keep your white one for when you want the car nice and neat. Or just wait till someone starts making c.f bonnets. Cough.

Funny you mention that Dave, I was going to go see him about a bonnet and a boot to mount my new wing on. They too will cop the satin black treatment.

I have a pair of headlight covers you can have. As it looks a bit dicky without them black as well.

I picked up some more parts for the car this week in the form of a Garage Vary lip (cheers Boags ), some spacers and tow hooks from mania and a new bootlid to put the new race (or is that rice?) GT wing on.

Nice work
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

not a fan of the wing, the APR wings would suit your car better i think.
Car is still looking good none the less.

Yeah I like the APR ones Adz, the deck on the one I have is exactly the same but APR don't have wings with as much offset as I was after. Anyway, I'm not too fussed with the looks, it's solely for track day use so as long as it holds the rear of the car down while doing 230 at Phillip island I'll be stoked.
It's not just fooly sick James, it's Hetik as bro.

HEKTIK BRO!
you know it's rather funny, i'm looking at this photo thinking "Man that wing is hideous, and those mazdaspeed wheels don't look very good, and that vary lip looks a bit crap as well"
given that in the flesh i know the wheels and lip actually look really good, it'll be interesting to see what i think of the wing when i see it.... I'll probably LOVE it!!!!!!!
