Good question Sliq. I think they're green or blue or both when illuminated.

Thanks. haha.....Yes I'll be using the factory gauge removed from a damaged NC cluster.

All is well on the home front Dale. I'm hoping I might be able to sneak in a whole day on the car sometime in the next fortnight. I need to get that roll cage happening as it is now on the critical path.

Cheers,
Danny

Is that a shift light or 2 I see in the tacho? If not, do you plan to have one?

Yes, one light is, but the gauges do have an output to an external idiot light which I will be fitting.

With a view to getting stuck into the car this weekend I had a crack at removing the five sections of sound deadener from the floor pan. This is how it looked before attacking it with dry ice pellets.

The dry ice pellets worked an absolute treat!!! 8) It was pinch of p155 on horizontal surfaces, but as you'd expect, harder on inclined surfaces. You need to allow around 5 mins of contact to freeze the sound deadener and break the adhesion to the floor pan. Then tap and chip away to your hearts content.

Hopefully the weekend will yield some much needed progress. :D

so................they mask off the deadener & paint around it?? :| .......I assume this is because adhesion is better without paint?? :?

Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often
