NEED ADVICE: Choosing aftermarket rims

??? can you descsribe how it would feel differently ???

After a few days of searching... I have to admit it's pretty damn hard to find 16s with the right offset and design. Even more frustrating is that the sellers don't even know what the wheels weight so i can't even judge whether they are around the 7kg mark or not (stock 16s are 7.05kg?)

Methinks Jeo means that, having a passenger on board will make more of a difference than the 2mm change in offset...

it shouldnt be hard at all, are you searching on the net ? honda offset shouldnt be hard to find at all, its when you get into lower offsets you will start having trouble.

most suppliers dont know what the wheels weigh, as most people that buy wheels at your general tyre shop, couldnt give to shits on what they weigh.

Most wheels that you will be looking at locally, will be heavier then OEM, we have really light wheels from factory.

well.. most sites i can find don't really stock anything substantial smaller than 17s.

Then 80% of what's left doesn't even have a price - let alone the weight... :roll:

Grab a hot 4's mag, flip through it, and get on the websites of all the wheel places you find.

just off the top of my head here.

Eagle tyres, Ozzy tyres, Tempe tyres, Budget wheels and tyres, Lenso, Taleb Tyres, Bob jane, Tyreland and so on.

if you want to get light weight wheels, you will need to look into brands like Volk, Rays, Work, Watanabe, Enkei, Borbet and so on. However, finding these wheels can prove to be much harder (locally) and will cost twice as much as the shitty generic wheels you will find at local stores.

Its not that hard to send an email to the wheel suppliers for a quote now is it?

haha... thanks MXHVEN.

I'll look into those sites tonight but i'll flick through my pile of Wheels & Top Gear mags as well.

I've tried emailing 3 shops for quotes and none of them can be bothered to reply... maybe they're doing so well in this market they don't need to *sarcasm* :roll:

.... and i love the design

Would have love to get the black with yellow ring to match the car colour but i'm keen to have a look at the other 2 options (matt black with red ring and shadow black with red ring)

Going there this weekend to have a look :mrgreen:
