6speed vs 5speed
just wondering if the clutch and flywheels are the same in the 6 speed and 5 speed boxes? I would assume so but just checking.

16bit,
Yes, you can fit a BP flywheel/clutch to a 5 speed or 6 speed gearbox.
The flywheel/clutch is specific to the engine (i.e. B6/BP) not the gearbox for NAs or NBs.
Hope this helps.

All BP engines take the same diameter clutch from factory, but the flywheels are lighter as the models progress, AFAIK.
I'm not 100% about NA8 - NB8A, but I know there is a difference between NB8B and NB8A.

NA8 and NB8 flywheels are slightly different I believe.

I think they are different but you get the clutch to match and its all good, no matter what gear box you have.
every ounce counts
