ok over the last two days this has been the project.
custom door trims. once the speakers had been amped i was finding that the cone was hitting the stock
cover so i went about redoing the trims from scratch.
i used the old one as a template and modded it from there.

so first pic.

ha lol
i do like simmons but i didn't know that.

well the paint is faded on the rear bar and the rest of the paint needs a lot of up keep to keep it looking nice.
gf wants the same colour again...... for ease of painting but some gold fleck will be added to the basecoat for some extra bling.
i painted my corolla and it turned out fairly well. and the mx is only half a car so should be fairly easy!

its been lowered with some pedders springs but is in need of new shocks.

urethane bushes all round is planned along with the shockers.

two 8 inch subwoofers are getting installed on the back shelf as soon as they arrive.
also to match the door cards a boot covering is getting made to cover the skeleton bracing also with a pair of downlights to illuminate the boot at night.

Now we have been travelling a lot this week went on holiday to vic. i decided to try and change the plugs only to find that cylinder 2 &3 spark tubes are full of oil.
now with these engine do i just need a cam cover gasket? or do i need a spark plug tube seal as well?
