NA wiring for hardtop demister

Has anyone with an NA ever wired up a demister for a hardtop? If so are you willing to share how it is done or should be done??

Is it an NA8 or NA6?

dang :(

Say for example that I had a hardtop with perfectly working demister and an NA6 then, how do I make it happen? Do I just need to hook up a suitable plug connected to a 12v source and wire in a switch?
