I took some pic's in the daylight for you..... My photography skills are crap at the best of times let alone in the dark :frown:

I am so glad to finally get the wheels on the car.....They have been sitting in my lounge room staring at me for weeks while i saved for the coilovers.

I'm very happy with the stance of the car....... Though this wheel fitment is not for the faint hearted.....there was a angle grinder involved at one stage!! :shock:

I have noticed some model NB's have factory rear mud flap/pod thingys......i'll try get some to hide my tread from mister police man :mrgreen:

Yes......I know the older more sensible members of this forum will be shaking their heads at the impractical seeming ride height.....

But my idea's for this car's style of appearance are based on my appreciation of "fat" looking drift cars.... Jap style... Even though this is my daily drive ( I have a ford falcon to drive while i get mods done and defects cleared) I wont be going to crazy.......i still wish to be able to drive the car hard.

I was given a pod filter by a friend.......so i bought a 90 degree silicon bend from supercheap ($40 on sale! wooo! ) Its a reducer bend....so its 2.5 inch at one end and 3 inch at the other......

I'm going to a winton fun day this sunday ($30 is cheap track time and its fun to go with a bunch of mates) so i'll let you all know how the coilovers performed when i get back.......

looks great, but I cant help but think your rear tyres (and most likely fronts too) will scrape the guards like mad on even the slightest bit of suspension compression.

are you bringing the MX5 to the cafe on thursday? it would be great to see it in person!

i didnt know that the GTR's came in -4? i knew they come in +4 and -15?

your front guards are going to rub like crazy.

I dont see why you needed an angle grinder?

Now you need some OEM sideskirts and front lip.

On the first drive the car did scrub quite a bit....

So i had a look and saw that the tyres were hitting the tabs that the bumpers bolt to at the top where they meet the guard.......so i cut as close to the bolt as i could to increase clearance......then.....(this will make some of you wince) i took my friendly hammer and lightly with repeated soft hits, massaged the tabs up and rolled the sharp corner. Now it onlt scrubs on the bigger bumps on the rear left guard..... might get it rolled out another 2mm.....

Spring rate on the coilovers is 8kg front and 6kg rear..... They feel a little soft for track work.....perfect for the street or spirited hills runs though.

Next serious mod will be a clutch i think.....stock one just has no bite.......but it dose still work.....maybe sway bars.... I'll flip a coin. My build budget only allows one mod at a time and i'm trying to get the most performance for my money as i can.

My bad, you are right the offset is +4 :oops:

Fronts are actually fine once i modified the tab where the front bumper bolts on......inner linings are all removed of corse.

I like the Garage Vary front lip...... but it aint in my budget atm.....and dosn't add much performance.
