Simple response - you dont. If your car came fitted with an airbag then you must keep it

All NB has both a driver's and passenger's airbag.

Legally, no you cannot remove it, some people do and just hope they dont get caught.

you might be able to fit an airbag wheel from a different model though.

nor I.

but I have seen cars with airbag wheels from other models, like a Mazda 121 with an airbag equipped wheel from a Mazda3.

I'm unsure on the legality of it though, there's still an airbag, but it's not for that specific car so I dont know if it would work properly or safely, or be legal?

i do rememember someone telling me once that if you put in a race harness and then get it engineered you can do it legaly as with the harness your making the airbag redundant... but it would be one pricey steering wheel once your done..

id also chase it up with an engineer before doing something like this.. as i also remember someone else saying a harness without a roll bar is bad news in most cars especially a five as if you end up on your roof you cant duck
