Where do the KU36's fit in the range? Are they are replacement for the KU31?

not a replacment for the ku31.

the ku31s are between a ultra-preformance tyre and a r-spec tyre.

if i had to class these as anything, they are a r-spec tyre designed for street use.

205/50R15
treadwear = 180
traction = AA
heat = A

they have a 1 ply tyre wall, so will allow some movement like a street tyre.

at lakeside on monday, the was a driver of a red NA6 that was running red MS-01R wheels and the same tyres. if anyone know him, hit him up for a review also.

i'll update with a review when i can, maybe a few weeks.

I had my first run on these today. But only did about 25km on them.

My intial thoughts on them are they have minimal road noise compared to R888s. But I cannot notice it over my exhuast. Might become louder as tyre wears.

It was a comfortable ride compared to the Toyo R-08s I had previously fitted. Which leads me to believe that they have a soft tyre wall. (Running 34psi).

Thought I'd try some on/off ramps to test cornering grip, but got slowed by traffic.

Tried a 270 degree on ramp at I normally can do 80kph. Today I hit the same ramp, got up to 95kph with ease before slowing for traffic.

Done 120km on the tyres so far. Very happy with these.

had a good run on the tyres today. tried them at 34psi.

turn in and steering response is great. it's instant and i feel everything i should.

braking is teeth shattering. feels like the rear is gonna lift off the ground when braking.

mid corner / apex speeds seem only to be marginally better. but am still having issues with the older suspension. i have a feeling the alignment is off again.

corner out speed is awesome. i am able to apply full power running out of the corner without any tyre slip. makes a huge difference with short stabs between tight corners.

after a while, the day got hotter and the road temp rised. the firmness of the ride got alot bumper. so i'm assuming the pressure raised a bit, and i didn't have a tyre psi gauge to check them. the tyres were getting hotter and the grip got a little better.
