What wheels are you getting?
True, 3 piece construction will make it looks smaller, are you getting works/ ssr?

No to be honest with you I dont think you guys will like them. They are simmons F90 and I think they will look good as they are quiet chunky. Nothing jap but still a good wheel which i have liked for ages....
I agree that the 3 piece will make it look smaller thus the choice to go 16...
I will post the pics when its done.

Those Simmons can be custom made to any offset you like (3 piece), but I'd imagine it would be super exxy.

Hi Vespa, I hope that you were not planning to buy new Simmons wheels, as they have now ceased production of all wheels and appear to be close to ceasing trading.

No got them on ebay!
I know they are quiet habibed out BUT they are still a nice quality wheel that i am yet to see on every mx5? I think in a +25 offset (if it fits with no rubbing) it will look real nice and tough.
Anyho, tommorw is D day and I will let you know how it goes.
I would have liked some 15"TE37s or mister S1s but do not have the coin. If i dont like them the Gamlights have not gone yet and i think they look sweet.

MX5HVN if i do need them rolled I will give you a call.... the images you are looking at are with the 15's on not the 16's.
In regards to the 16's looking huge i agreed they do look big (and not that good) but I think with the style of rim I am buying it will look good as they are a 3 pice with a chrome lip.
If i don't like the way they look I can always buy another set of gramlights:D
I am aware, but the guard gap will be similar, you need to be 1 finger or less to have rubbing issues.
Anyway, today was the big day, how did it go?
