sorry to hijack thread..
..but does anyone see a problem with using i 'T' piece instead of the elbow in the above pics and installing a BOV from here also? (so the idle intake is coming off one side and the BOV on the opposite)

Welcome to the obsession :)

Ok, just reread your question. I have two separate connections on the TB pipe. One for the Idle intake and the other for the BOV. Basically the same as what you are thinking of doing, so I would not expect any problems, especially given that the idle intake and BOV would not be in use at the same time. There is one possible constraint though. Are you still running a air flow meter, or do you have a MAP sensor?

thanks for the reply.
yeah its a nice little obsession. i have plenty more questions but i'll start my own thread for those questions a bit later.

anyway..back to the BOV, that is what i tried but for the life of me i couldn't get it to work (it is an exact copy of a turbosmart kompact from ebay). it does not seal properly i found out later but i also tried it with a one way check valve to counter that (ha you should have seen how it was hooked up!) but still didn't work. i was thinking it could have been where it was plumbed in?? it doesn't make sense!
its getting returned for one that works (hopefully)
