A great run today and a great turn out of over thirty cars for such an inclement day. A reminder that the people in these areas have an on going battle to restore their lives and a whole list of new challenges now that the weather is turning. Thanks to those that organized the day and every one that turned up. 8)

I also would like to thank everyone for making it sucha great day, the weather did not have any effect on the day what so ever. It was great to meet some new faces, but most importantly to pay our respects to those who suffered the tragedy of black saturday, some horrific scenery at times but it's good to see it starting to rejuvinate!

So, those who took pics... Let there be upload

What a great day. I still can't believe some of the things we saw, amazing... Thanks to the club for hosting such a great run.

Below is a small selection of the photos I took (the ones in the car were taken by my mum who came along for the ride)

Sorry I was a no show. I have had an abysmal weekend and was seriously not fit for company/driving. Testing times, eh?

Hope all had a good day today.

On behalf of the Committee & Run Hosts, Linda & Don Nicoll, thank you to everyone who supported this Run. It was a very sobering day indeed.

The Mazda MX5 Club Vic Inc made donations to two CFA Units - Arthurs Creek & Strath Creek - bringing the total amount of Club donations made to $1500 - donations were made initially to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal & to WIRES (wildlife care). Participants yesterday were invited to make personal donations and I believe that the two CFA units we visited were more than happy with donations received. A thank you must also go to CFA Captains David McGahy (Arthurs Creek) & Gary Hendy (Strath Creek) and their Members for taking time to talk to us.
