Where are all the 10AE models?????
I was lucky enough to get one that had low ks......knowing that only 150 were sold in Aus
I was curious too see how many are still around.....might also help track down some of the harder to find parts.

Mine is still relatively stock and low kays (77km on the clock now). All details/pics by clicking on my car underneath my username over here >>>>>>>

Can't remember the build number of mine off the top of my head, but it was purchased from a forumer here.

Wasn't there one on here a few months ago that had been stripped down and fully caged.

I saw a 10AE at the airport entrance of the M5 yesterday. Chick driving it, looked bone stock.

A lot of the non-forummers probably aren't aware that their car is a 10AE or anything that special.

Hello,
As far as I know there are at least three 10AE's in Canberra. Two are still with their original owners and are in daily use.
I know that one of these two cars had it's 'breathing' and it's exhaust system substantially improved by the late, legendary Loc Stewart. This car with its willingness to rev and its wonderfully crisp exhaust note is thrilling and rewarding to drive.
Tho' these two owners may be unaware of the existence of MX5cartalk Forum they would without doubt know of the distinction between a 10AE and other MX5s....

Hi All,
This is my first reply. I'm a 10AE original owner my car has travelled only 5700km.I've made a couple of small changes, fitted a Racing Beat MS Turbo rear muffler (sounds great) and a front SS grille with my plate number painted on it.This allows me to remove the original plate. I know it's not legal but it looks good.

Cheers

G'day Con65 !
I had thought that my car was a relatively low kilometer example but strewth... your car (at 5700k) absolutely takes the cake !
Con, would you PLEASE give us the drum on why your '10' is such a low mileage motorcar ?
Cheers from slowpoke

Hello slowpoke,
When I purchased the car I already had a couple of finacial commitments. So I decided to keep the mileage low to limit my loss in case I had to sell it. Then having to find time, perfect weather and so on has kept the mileage low. I now also have a 98 NB and a Golf V Sportline as my daily drives. But neither compare to the 10AE!

Cheers,
Con
