Postby corners » Wed Jun 03, 2009 2:04 pm

Hey

I bought some second hand Tein Flex's which I am gonna install soon, just wondering if someone knows of a manual or guide which shows how to adjust, height, spring tension and rebound?

Thanks

Also can anyone tell me that springs the flex comes with?

The ones I have have a light grey spring with Swift stickered on the side

You have swift springs. which are aftermarket springs for aftermarket coilovers.

They are usually replaced for a more stiffer spring rates.

Oh and normal stock Tein flex are 7/6

also, having done the suspension 4 times on 5, easiest way to do the suspension is the "long bolt" method. basically take out the long bolt that holds the upper wishbone of the fronts, and take the suspension out, rear is a lot easier... big forum should have some detailed instructions..

with regards to the rear suspension, it is easier but you must remove a bolt on, erm...the wishbone...such that you can push it down and replace the coil. I found it a bit more involved in my NB8B that others experienced for their NA's
