Wakefield 30/06/09

Hey..!
Its been too long between track days, so end of uni exams track day will be on Tuesday the 30th of June.
Same idea as usual, go down stay the night before at Mikes Manor, thrash around the track the next day, then head home.

Date: 30/06/09
Where: Wakefield Park
Why: End of exams
Cost: Accommodation $50 + Track $110
RSVP: by the 23rd of June if you want us to organise your accommodation. If not just show up!

thinking of going to the club track day instead...Sunday 21st June 2009...being a Sunday and all, its much more convenient...

Yea I figured most people would be going to the club track day, but this is organised around a friend who just got a new 350z and has no track experience. So we are after a quiet track and will have the usual mix of Skylines and mx-5s.

The word "Skylines" implies that more than one Skyline goes :lol:

I won't be racing for this as it would be the third track day for June, I aim for only 1 lol. So I'll bring along my camera, laptop, tools ect ect

I need new tyres...Not going R888s, so RE001s it is. on OEM NA8, so thats about 440. I need my own helmet, thats about 150 odd. Plus the 220 odd for the round trip...gah! My P6000s are in no condition for the road let alone track!

I just bought some adrenalins too. Just hire a helmet, much cheaper. Oh yar, condition of tyres for track doesn't need to be as good as for road.

I wanna buy a brown helmet and go for a Domo-kun pattern. So simple 2 black dots for eyes and a red mouth with white teeth. =D

I might still go...but too worried about exams for now

Exams end on the 16th so i'll have some time to decide then. I said I wasn't going if it was during uni!

Seeing how I have nothing to learn during holidays...muhahahah!
