Essentially, the MSPNP is a considerable spend if you're only seeking to improve air flow by removing the slightly restrictive NA6 AFM. Replacing it with a S4 or S5 RX7 AFM & transplanting the MX5 AFM internals to it would be more economical. However, if you want & will use the headroom the MSPNP will give you to do other things then that's a different story.
Yeah, I have plans, but they will take some time to come to fruition, one step at a time, a MSPNP is one of those steps.
A good CAI where I don't have to cut holes or make up elaborate heat shields works for me. I won't see track time so the air diverter over the radiator is not so essential for me, If cooling does become an issue, then another step will most likely be an alloy radiator.
