why the disgruntled face?

it gives our cars character!

you can have 20 mx5's in a garage.

all have same rims, or front lips, clear indicators, etc.

the thing that will separate them all are its squeaks and squeals and funny, uneven heights
i can't brain today.. i have the dumb..

I just checked my height again today, it's all the same for both sides (for stock oem coils).

Did they preload the suspension when tightening, or was it just on a hoist.

Didn't preload it no. How can you preload it and then tighten when the car is so low?

I see, I take it just ddrive up onto the hoist. Loosen all bolts on the LCA and torque them back up again?

something like that......probably need move the car frontward & backward & wiggle it a little bit as well so it all settles nicely. If that doesn't work..........not really sure then.

When I corner weight the car I had a similar expereince. All my coilover spring perch heights were different side to side; both front and back. They are all set at slighly different, but when I get into the car it all evens out.

When I was levelling my car I tried swapping the springs across at each end. It made no difference. The springs had not settled, it was in the chassis somewhere.

I think its more than sag. I would say the old OEM dampers would be sagging due to the weight, but not these...As manga_blue hypothesized, its prob in the chassis.

I think Mazda preset the odd passenger side height to mirror the future driver's testicles, so any body roll can be cancelled out? Are your plums out of plumb??
