So, I got home from uni early, so I thought I'd clean out under the seats, seeing I've never done that since getting the car...So I cleaned it, sorry no before pics :P Just after!

Alright, I've lift one edge up as per IH8 instructions on JDMST, I'm still worried it might "split" the air, so I've used one of those intake funnels i had lying around and routed it back behind and underneath the shield. This funnel is placed in similar fashion to the OEM one, but it needs more air! I've also sent Ratsback an email to see how the intake cover is, so that I can get more air coming in...

The intake cover from Ratsback...Seeing how much it will be to get one sent over.

Verdict: The heatshield is doing it's job :P Before the shield was put in, after a long drive the area around the airfilter got really hot, and would ping when i mash the throttle after start stop traffic. Today, after a long drive, pop the bonnet, stick my hand in the filter area, only slighter warmer~ WIN! And no pinging when mashing the throttle, even when I'm on 95. Before the shield, the pinging would come after a REALLY long drive in warm weather even on 98...

I got a Nopro washer bottle relocator off Infector yesterday. Installed it tonight. VERY straight forward, thought I needed to drill holes, but NOPE! ran off existing holes! =D AWESOME!

Here it is with the old washer out.

The wiring went through the hole where the tubing went before...

I had to do some swapping with the tubing so it didn't kink or fold up when I closed the bonnet.

Where the bolts went in. All existing holes. VERY nicely designed.

Money prevents me from doing more right now sliq :(

So my Teins are in. But the height difference is still a matter of concern for me. The weather and my other commitments such as uni has prevented me to take any photos illustrating the height. Its actually quite high and looking lower it further after a good alignment.

My current damper settings are
4 F 5
2 R 3
I'm trying to compensate as one side of the car is more wound up than the other...I might run the rears at 2 and fronts at 4s to see how that goes.

height still needs a bit of adjustment, did a quick measurement and the height is
127 F 131
125 R 127

I'm not surprised you've seen me RawSouth! Live around the same area, wave next time! No matter what car your in! Thanks for the comment ^_^

I'm getting them shipped over -alex! =D Hopefully should arrive just before exams so I can install it afterwards~

edit: The heatshield is working really well. Stuck int he M5 today, driving uphill at the exit of the tunnel heading to King Georges way, my car usually pings, I think because of all the heat build up. Nothing today! =D Cost to me was about 10 for the sheetmetal and 30 minutes of my time, WELL WORTH IT!!!!

Just got an email from Trevor of Ratsback. He shipped it off UPS priority mail. I'm EXCITED!

I've lowered my car more, its now a 2 finger wheel arch gap.

Damper is set onto lowest I can with rears at the lowest and front being on 2 notch. I've received 2 separate complaints about how bumpy it is with damper on about 7-8 front :P

looks lower at the back than the front.....otherwise good
Use the vertical height to the pinch welds to adjust the coilovers.
