Opinions on these wheels...

So, as stated above... I bought them.

They are 16kg each with tyres, my 14's with tyres are 14kg.

I'm am quite happy with them, they are all in good, round condition. One has gutter rash on a part of it but it will buff out.

They look rather average on the car at the minute but they sit nicely, i am think of either making the centres silver or black and polishing the lip. That should spice things up a bit  Suggestions welcome :D

Eventually, i have spent alot of money on the car to date. I want to get back into my drumming, and to do that i have to buy 2 new cymbals, a new set of drum heads and some sticks which is worth a total of $1500.

These wheels were just over $200 and good so i got them, they will be a good wheel to have and have a good range of tyres avaliable for the size, 6UL are a definate must have but probably not for a while yet, maybe next year.

Howcome its so heavy is it a two piece wheel??

I also think the 6UL would have been the liter choice...

Thats not too heavy wun, they are a one piece. I dont mind either way, they still feel really good. And i bought this whole set of wheels for less than what one 6UL is worth 8)

They're lighter than your wheels Wun...

Looking good cheyne, they are really starting to grow on me. In either black or silver I think you'll be

They look great Cheyne, can't wait to see all four on your car.

I would chose your new wheels over your black ones anyday!!

that is a shame regarding colour. I quite like the gold/bronze with polished lip.

Those would look good in a new clean coat of gold with polished lip. It all depends upon the shade of gold though.

I know what you mean steve, when i first got the car it had a woodgrain dash facia, gear knob, handbrake lever and a wooden nardi wheel. If it was still like that i would have kept the wheels gold. Unfortunatly though they now make the car look tacky. I'm sure the would look brilliant on a BRG NA :)

Agreed bruce, if that was the case, a darker gold i think, closer to a bronze.

A lighter shade of gold would look OK with a polished lip.
The current shadeis too brassy.

Silver centres would look better though, but to me, gunmetal just looks like the wheels are dirty and in need of a clean.
