Sounds more electrical than fuel.

Coilpacks failing - does it get worse as the engine warms up?

Crank angle sensor going spastic?

I was going to say cam angle sensor (I had the same symptoms as what your experiencing) however I only got those symptoms when the car got hot (track days 46 deg days etc).
every ounce counts

Tried to find it, but, have you replaced the leads? Very common fault which causes such maladies.
