just go around different dynos until you find one that gives you the extra 13RWkw.

Go to SAME dyno (ie/ mania's dyno), you are comparing the car's power, not comparing different dynos.

Although you would assume that 1kw = 1kw, most dynos will give you different numbers. It sounds pretty bad trying to find 13kw but there are so many variables that i wouldn't be that worried about it.

can you post both graphs? there may be something in the parameters that have been put in that have thrown the figures out.

Apart from the different dyno, ambient temperatures make a big difference in the power output as well. Can you recall what the temp of the last dyno you did compared to the mania dyno day?

It's very easy to fudge dyno figures.
Putting the air temp guage under the bonnet will give a high reading. It should be on the wall away from the car.
Also, ramping rates and other factors can have a good effect too.
Different dyno's also give different readings. Simple as that. Some are knows to read higher than others.
In the end, you can't drive a dyno, so just get in the car and enjoy it

no no, this is Andrew/mxcrazy.
yakob/crazymx is the one that has the black nb8a, not the gold nb8a as discussed in this thread.

Yakob was the crzy one was how I tried to remember it, separate the two in my own mind. And yes i know i spelt crzy as crzy, that was his name.
But yes, this does sound like mxcrazy's old car.

From my dyno records over the years 80RWKW on Dyno Dynamics dyno would be about right. That's not saying that it didn't make 93 on another dyno.
We have consistently seen 72-3 stock fom an NA8A.93 on a DD would need cams and or piggyback ECU in my experience.
I doubt that you have "lost" any power just got a different reading.
Should be nice drive at that power,
Enjoy!
Peter

About 80 killer wasps at the rears is pretty on the money for a nb8a with intake and exhaust mods.
Add an ecu to the mix and you will crack the 90s (even if your car has 180,000kms + on it)
As for the drags, 15'8s are doable. That was my best with a 0.32 on the reaction (not bad for my 1st time at the strip but still a bit average tho). A forum member with a 1.6 cams, intake, exhaust, ecu, etc etc and other stuff ran a 15'4 on a 0.25 reaction. Saw a boosted mx5 run a 13'9.
Hope that helps :-)
P.s the mania dyno is 1 of the LEAST GENEROUS dyno's ive been on. personally i think it their dyno is about spot on. just my 2c
