Dont worry about the radio you remove the radio every time you go to track anyway...

Not too worried about the radio. I don't listen to the radio in the car and it doesn't have a pin. All good on that front. That's about the only creature comfort the car now has.

And no, Wun, we are not removing my stereo equipment on Sunday.

Thats not a bad idea I know NB8B can dead lock a boot when you lock the boot with your key.

i remember reading somewhere that you had to mod the lock

No mods required, in the US they need some though, but it's quite easy, something about filing/removing a tab on the lock mechanism. To dead lock it you just turn the key in the opposite direction to unlocking until you hear it click.

only problem killing the power all together is your radio stations will never be stored after killing the battery which is pretty annoying..

Normally if your doing it for security you have the main power cut off by the switch then you have a secondary line still connected with a low amperage fuse which allows things like the radio to keep it's stations, this way you don't lose them but if anyone starts it up without connecting the main then the fuse will blow as soon as they try and get ignition killing all electronics

i just went and tried turning it the opposite direction to unlocking and its just hard won't turn the opposite direction

that's weird, my NB8A does it fine (otherwise I would never leave anything in there)

I never found it in my manual.
