Picking up the car this afternoon.
Just got a call from the trimmers, car will be finished this afternoon. was meant to be finished last night, but i wanted a few more things done.
ive also got a few more goodies sitting next to me waiting to be put in once i get her back.

Will post up picks either tonight or tomorrow.
From what the trimmers said, its one of the best interiors they have done on an mx5 :) so im excited!

Do you happen to have a cost breakdown of everything? I'm rather curious about the handbrake, gear knob and steering wheel costs.

not many trimmers would actually touch the steering wheel, but this mob did, all up it was pretty expensive but i wanted quality done. was almost 2k all finished, so i am guessing u can try brake it down from there...

Fantastic job ..... crappy pictures ..... but seriously it looks very professional and what you said about the steering wheel is correct, my original Nardi Leather wheel had been ruined by the previous owner leaving it in the sun. I enquired at a few places for recovering and only one wanted to take the job on - $480! I just bought another wheel as new for $100.

I am going to have my NB8B door trim inserts and my gear boot trimmed in red leather to match my seats as you have done.

Can't wait to see some nice clear photos :D

sorry to say, but i'm not a fan.

i think you should have left the plastics black, and that red gearknob is too much!

I don't mind all the red, but I would have left the outer side of the seat black, and only the centers of the seat red.

How much did it cost to retrim the steering wheel?

A couple of years ago I was quoted between $180 and $200 to retrim the std NB8A wheel in black leather, if that helps anyone...

Blackman in Melbourne does the steering wheel for $240 with any colour leather/ stiching you want.
